The Pioneers opened the Jeff Uphaus Memorial Tournament with a 120-71 victory over Barclay on Thursday.

Jordan Whelan led 7 Pioneers in double figures and recorded 3 steals. Justin Randall shot 7-8 for 17 points and 3 blocks. Hudson Welty (13), Cale Brubaker (12), Gabriel Jordan (11), David Nelson (11), and Ryan Garcia also reached double figures as MNU shot 63% for the game. Tyler Thomas hauled in a game-high 9 rebounds.
