MNU Falls in Hard Fought 4-Setter

The #19 Pioneers dropped a tough match 3-1 at #15 Park on Thursday. MNU won the first set 27-25, but Park responded to take the 2nd set 25-21. The 3rd and 4th sets were tight, but the Pirates defended their home court with 28-26 and 25-23 victories to take the match.

Taylor Cowan led the way with 14 kills and 7 blocks. Sofija Berezovska had 12 kills, 9 digs, and 3 blocks. Lauma Knupke recorded 11 kills, 5 digs, and 6 blocks. Cailyn Bessmer added 6 kills and a match-high 9 blocks. Tashley Snyder had 21 digs. And Rachel Kater had 41 assists.
