Pioneers Drop 2nd in Kentucky

MNU never led in an 89-66 loss at Lindsey Wilson on Saturday. The Blue Raiders scored the first 6 points of the game and jumped out to a 26-8 lead before taking a 17-point lead into halftime. The Pioneers got within 12 points with 12:40 remaining in the game, but would get no closer as LWC pushed the lead back to 20 and cruised to the finish.

Aleksandar Zivkovic recorded a double double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Cale Brubaker hit 4 three-pointers for 12 points. Gabriel Jordan had 11 points off the bench. And Justin Randall had 9 points and 2 blocks.

MNU is 3-9 (2-1 HAAC). The next game is Thursday at home vs. Evangel (7-6, 2-0) at 7:30.
