Balcom Records Career High at Graceland

MNU finished the first half of the HAAC schedule tied for the lead after an 80-65 victory at Graceland on Saturday. The first half was tight throughout as MNU took a 4-point lead into the locker room, but the Pioneers came out hot in the second half to take control of the game. A 6-1 run opened up a double-digit lead, and MNU maintained it for the rest of the game.

Megan Balcom had her best game as a Pioneer, hitting 8 of 10 from the field - including 4-6 from beyond the arc and 4-4 from the line - for a career-high 24 points. She also dished out 4 assists. Daria Sprew was 9-14 from the field for 24 points and 7 rebounds. Jasmine Webb had a double double off the bench with 10 points and 10 rebounds. And Kyleesha Weston flirted with a triple double with 8 points, 9 assists, and 11 rebounds.
