Pioneers Fall in Kentucky

MNU's 21 turnovers contributed to an 11-point loss at #5 Campbellsville on Friday. The Tigers jumped out to a 13-2 lead, but the Pioneers got back in it with a 17-6 run. MNU took a 1-point lead in the final seconds, but Campbellsville hit a shot at the buzzer to take a 25-24 halftime lead. The Tigers used a 6-0 run in the second half to take a 9-point lead, and they controlled the rest of the game to give MNU their 4th loss of the season.

Martyna Kudziela led MNU with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Daria Sprew had 12 points and 3 steals. And Tristin Wicks had 10 points and 2 blocks.

MNU is 9-4. The next game is tomorrow at Lindsey Wilson (11-3) at noon.
