The best team in the nation proved it in a 10-0 victory over the Pioneers on Saturday in the final game of Pool Play at the National Tournament. California Baptist ace pitcher Emma Holden tossed a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts as her offense built a sizable lead. A 2-out, pinch-hit, 2-run double in the second inning was all CBU needed to end MNU's season, and the runs kept coming with 3 in the fourth, 2 in the sixth, and 3 more in the seventh to account for the 10-0 victory.
The Pioneers finish the season with a 39-12 record.
