The Pioneers went to Lindsborg, KS and swept a non conference double header at Bethany on Saturday. In Game 1, MNU scored 2 runs in the second and third innings to take the lead, then put the game away with 6 runs in the sixth for the 11-8 victory. Jen Costa (8-2) got her 8th victory of the season, striking out 4 in 6 innings.

In Game 2, the offense built an 8-run lead by the top of the sixth, but Bethany mounted a comeback with 5 runs in the bottom of the inning. MNU tacked on a run in the seventh and held on for the 9-6 victory.
Jessica Hull (4-1) allowed no runs in 5 innings for the victory. And
