Adam Brewster

Despite growing up in an area with little to no boys volleyball, Adam has always found a way to be in a volleyball gym. Starting in church leagues and playing in the eighteens division of club since the age fourteen, Adam has competed and coached volleyball all over the world. He found success as a player earning MVP accolades for MAVS boys volleyball. To further his volleyball education, Adam moved to St. Louis while still in high school to play for High Performance STL where he would play on two Open division club teams. His senior year, Adam won a Bronze medal and All-Tournament team accolades at the 2015 Boys Junior National Championships in Colombus, Ohio. He continued his education and volleyball career at Lindenwood University, St. Charles from 2015-2019. Where he competed in the MIVA and was a two time second Team All-Conference, three time Academica All-Conference, Captain, and school record holder. He then went on to play professionally in Denmark for Nordenskov UIF for the 2019-2020 season. While at NUIF, He won a Danish Cup Bronze Medal and Volley Ligaen Silver Medal for the first time in the club's history.

During all of his playing experience, Adam has also had a coaching role. He has coached six teams for High Performance STL of all different ages and divisions. Two of which he helped qualify for the Open division as an assistant. He has led camps and clinics for MAVS boys volleyball, High Performance STL, and Midwest Volleyball Performance. When in Denmark, Adam was asked to fill the Head Coach position for the women’s volleyball team at Nordenskov UIF in the second division. He more than doubled their wins, despite joining the team in the middle of their season.

Adam now finds himself in a familiar volleyball gym at MNU. His first memories of MNU were watching his sister play for the University. He followed the Pioneers when his sister returned as the assistant coach, and now with Molly at the helm as Head Coach, has been no stranger to helping the program during breaks in his playing career. He is excited to become an official part of the MNU coaching staff for his college coaching debut. "I feel like I have grown up in this gym, so it is surreal to be able to contribute to such an amazing program. I already feel like family, and not just because my sister happens to be the Head Coach. To be able to be in a volleyball gym with people that have a like-minded love and devotion to Jesus, is so special to me."
