Skelly Kellar

Skelly Kellar was named head coach at MNU in the fall of 2012. In his first season, Kellar led the Pioneers to the conference tournament after a 3-year absence. In 2016, MNU finished 3rd in the conference and reached the conference tournament finals for the first time in program history, securing the program's first Nationals appearance. In 5 seasons he is 52-33-13.

Prior to MNU, Kellar was the head coach at Scottsdale Community College (AZ). In three seasons he accomplished an overall record of 47-13-2. In the fall of 2011, in just his third year as a head coach, Kellar's team made it to the semifinals of the National Tournament before finishing third in the country in the NJCAA.

Prior to his arrival at SCC, Kellar played soccer and graduated from Azusa Pacific University (’07). There he led his team to the National Tournament three years in a row (’04-’06), including two runner-up finishes. During his tenure at Azusa, Kellar was a four time All-Region honoree and two-time All-America. 

Since graduation Kellar has played in the PDL (Premier Development League), USL (United Soccer League), and on two 1st Division teams in South Africa.
