Ali Hanif is in his 2nd year as Goalkeeper Coach & Assistant coach with the MNU Women’s Soccer team. He grew up in Manchester (England), where he began his career as a goalkeeper, playing at youth & college level. He attended Manchester Metropolitan University where he graduated with a bachelors in Coaching & Sports development in 2015.

Hanif began his coaching career at Manchester United FC, working in various roles as an Assistant Coach, Head coach & Goalkeeper coach from 2008-2018. Served as Assistant and Head coach at Loreto College (Manchester, England) from 2012-2017. Coach Ali, also coached in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) with the Kansas City Athletics (Formerly GSI Pride) for the 2017 & 2018 seasons as Goalkeeper & Assistant coach. He currently serves as the GK ICON Goalkeeping  Business Manager at Challenger Sports & Director of Goalkeeping at Local youth soccer club Kansas City Athletics. Ali brings over 11 years of coaching experience from the Youth, Pro/ Semi Pro & college level in England and the United States.

He lives in Overland Park, Kansas.
