Coach Mark Amos was most recently the Head Softball Coach at Crest Ridge High School in Centerview, Missouri where he made three consecutive trips to the State Championship Tournament. The Crest Ridge Cougars placed 2nd twice and also had a third place finish. In the three years at Crest Ridge, Coach Amos compiled a record of 66-5. Coach Amos was previously the Head Softball coach at both William Chrisman High School and Grain Valley High School. Coach Amos also serves on the coaching staff of the highly competitive Kansas City Zephyrs Softball Organization.
 
Coach Mark Amos has been very involved in High School Athletics for over twenty years, coaching Varsity Football, Girl’s Basketball, and Softball. Mark and his wife, Erica, reside in Independence and have two daughters: Kendra and Kara. Kendra is a freshman at the University of Arkansas and Kara a freshman at Truman High School.
