Ashley "Salty" Salter was born February 5, 1989 in Portland, Oregon... she is the daughter of Darius & Brenda Salter... she has 3 older sisters: Heather, Heidi, & Tabitha who all played college softball for Nazarene schools... Ashley attended Lee's Summit West High School where she played varsity softball for three years... Ashley transferred to MNU from Southern Nazarene University where she played softball for one season... she is majoring in Nursing.

Batted .391 with 35 runs, 13 doubles, 6 homers, 42 RBI, a .587 SLG%, and a .414 OB% in 52 games. Named First Team All-Conference (1B).

Batted .271 with 25 runs, 5 doubles, 3 homers, 27 RBI, a .353 SLG% and a .317 OB% in 54 games. Named Honorable Mention All-Conference (3B).
