Coach Juan Arias rejoined the MNU family in August, 2023.  A graduate of MNU, he was the starting goalkeeper for the Men's team in 2019.  After graduation, Juan began his coaching career. He was the Graduate Assistant goalkeeper coach for Oklahoma Christian University in 2021 and 2022.  He helped lead the Eagles from just one win in 2021 to an impressive 11 win campaign in 2022.  This was the most wins in program history since moving to the NCAA from the NAIA.  The team also qualified for the conference tournament for the first time in the D2 era.  
Coach Arias moved back to KC to work full time in the corporate world.  He helps coach with KC Legends youth soccer club along with his duties as MNU's goalkeeping coach. 
In 2023, Juan helped lead the Pioneers to their first NAIA National Championship.  Starting goalkeeper Enzo Carvalho was selected to the National Championship All-Tournament team.  The team finished with an overall record of 17-4-4.
