Javier Beltran

Coach Javi was born and raised in Santiago, Chile. He played at the highest youth level for two professional teams, Santiago Morning (from U12-U16) and CD Cobresal (from U17-U19). After graduating from high school, he came to the United States to play for MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU).

At MNU, Javi  played a significant role on a team that was consistently nationally ranked in the NAIA Top 25 national poll.  He helped the team to two appearances in the NAIA National Tournament. He was named 3rd Team All-Conference his last two years. He led the team in minutes played in his last two seasons and was recognized by his teammates as one of the captains of the team. He also won the Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete award due to his performances in the classroom as well as on the field. He graduated with a degree in Sports Management with Emphasis in Sports Dynamics and a minor in Coaching.  Javi will continue his education at MNU by pursuing a Masters in Business Administration.  He was named the Graduated Assistant Coach in the summer of 2021.

Javi holds his USSF D License, and he is currently in progress to get his USSF C License.  He also coaches for Toca FC.
