Coach Love's Strength and Conditioning philosophy has been developed through experience with all age groups and levels, NFL to youngsters. He places a high priority on the culture of his program. The core values that drive his culture are leadership, enthusiasm, accountability, and discipline. His mission is to create an environment where men are challenged to reach their potential. Through this struggle, which often imitates life, he strives to develop men of integrity who walk with the Lord. His goal is to elicit specific adaptations for each player that apply to the demands of their position. The Pioneers have also been highly resilient under his reign, maintaining strong health year round predominately through the reduction of shoulder and knee injuries.

In 2014, MNU’s defensive backfield was ranked #1 in the HAAC & #4 in the nation in pass defense efficiency. They forced 16 INTs and limited opposing quarterbacks to just 155yds/game on their way to a HAAC Championship.

Previously he worked in Athletic Performance for the San Jose State Spartans & for the San Francisco 49ers. Before entering the college ranks, he served as the Director of Strength & Conditioning at Santa Fe Christian HS and founded Bio-Energetix Supplements LLC. He is a Certfied Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and U.S.A.W. .

Love graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science from Azusa Pacific and an M.S. in Kinesiology at CSU Fullerton. He grew up in San Diego, played safety at Azusa Pacific University, and lives in Olathe with his wife Mykl.
