Theotis Brown

Theotis Brown enters his six season as Director of Player personnel for the Pioneers. He also works as an assistant with the running backs and special teams and with the punt & kick returners. Coach Brown works with the current personnel development, he also plays a huge role in the success of the Pioneer program, which is highly dependent on bringing in great athletes who can mesh with the current roster.

Brown worked with the Kansas City Chiefs front office as the coordinator of player development as well as the community relations and sales departments. When he graduated from UCLA he was the 7th all-time leading rusher in school history. In 2011 he was inducted into the UCLA Hall of Fame.

Brown played 6 years as a running back in the NFL where he was a second round draft choice with the St. Louis Cardinals and also played with the Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs.
 
Coach Brown lives in Overland Park KS, with his wife, Chris, professor of education at UMKC. His daughter Taylor (KU) graduated from Blue Valley Northwest and is now the Production Coordinator for Atomic Monster Films. His son Trey (UCLA) graduated from Blue Valley Northwest and is the Executive VP of Football Operations Birmingham AAF. Trey and his wife Brooke have two daughters, Maddison and Zoe.
