Steve Campos is in his first season on staff as defensive backs coach, working as a graduate assistant. He has worked 12 seasons in the JC ranks and 2 seasons at the high school level as Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator. Campos coached 10 years at Shasta Community College and 2 years at Laney Community College.

While coaching at Shasta college, Campos coached linebackers, running backs, and secondary. He also held special teams coordinator position for 3 seasons. At laney, he was the assistant LB coach, and Safties coach while at Laney College.

Campos graduated from Simpson College, obtaining a liberal arts degree. He lives with his wife Tajsa and their children Olivia, Natalie, Malanni, Elaina, and Benicio.
