James Perry is going on 3 years as receivers coach for MNU.  This year he will be taking over as Special Teams Coordinator. In his 2 years coaching, Perry has coached 5 all-conference players and two All-Americans.  In the 2009 season, Perry coached a record-breaking receiver in Jared Elmore, who had over 1,200 yards and 16 touchdowns (12 games). As a player at MNU, Perry was named an All-American twice.  In 2006, Perry was named “Offensive Player of the Year” ending his season with 87 catches for nearly 1000 yards (10 games). All three years Perry played at MNU he led the conference in receptions and was named 1st-Team All-Conference for those three years. Perry currently holds records at MNU in career receptions (239), career receiving yards (2,464), and receptions in a game (17).
