Coach Duane Clemons is in his first year as defensive line coach at MNU. Clemons was drafted in the first round (16th overall) of the 1996 NFL draft. After 10 years in the NFL, including 3 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, Clemons has returned to KC to finish his degree at MNU.
Clemons started at defensive end along side John Randle for the 1998 Vikings which finished the regular season 15-1. Soon after, he was traded to the Chiefs (00-02) and finished his career with the Cincinnati Bengals (03-05). Clemons led his team in sacks and tackles for loss numerous times throughout his career, and was coached by Mike Waffle, Marvin Lewis, and Denny Green among others. His experience at the highest levels and his passion to coach have Clemons prepared to coach a top tier defensive line.
Clemons is a pre-med student at MNU and resides just outside of Olathe, KS.
