Jennifer Costa was born February 21, 1989 in Walnut Creek, California... she is the daughter of Dale & Cathy Costa... she has a brother Thomas, sister Shawna, sister Vicky and niece Kailey... Jennifer attended Escalon High School and played varsity softball, volleyball and basketball... Jennifer transferred to MNU from San Joaquin Delta Community College where she played softball for two seasons... she is majoring in Elementary Education.

As a Junior
At the plate she batted .472 with 76 runs, 17 doubles, 17 homers, 56 RBI, a .907 SLG%, and a .534 OB% in 54 games. As a pitcher she went 21-4 with a 1.56 ERA and 235 strikeouts in 152.1 innings. She threw 3 no-hitters (including a 5-inning perfect game) and 9 shutouts. She was named First Team All-Conferece (SS), Conference Player of the Week (3/1 & 5/3), Conference Pitcher of the Week (3/1, 4/5, 4/12, 4/19), NAIA National Pitcher of the Week (4/12), and Conference Player of the Year.
