William Hertel was born in Dallas, Texas ... he is the son of George Kassees, Susan kassees, and Delton Hertel ... he attended Garland High School where he was the starting long snapper for 2 years ... in his senior year he earned special teams player of the week 5 times and special teams player of the year ... William left Alabama state as a freshman and played a season of semi-pro football where he was named to the All DFW team as a long snapper ... he signed with MNU as one of the top JUCO long snappers in the country his sophomore year ... William is majoring Sports Management with a minor in Coaching.
