Land Gym Receives Upgrade

OLATHE, Kan. - Gallery | Visitors walking through MidAmerica Nazarene University's athletic facilities this summer may notice something new.

From the entrance to Land Gymnasium to the Sports Performance Center and Olympic Weightlifting room, updated graphics and branding elements are helping create a unified look that reflects the pride and identity of MNU Athletics.

The enhancements were made possible through the longstanding partnership between MNU Athletics and local representative Billy Baber, whose relationship with the university has spanned multiple decades through MB2 Sports and now BSN Sports. "Partnerships like this help us continue elevating the experience for our student-athletes, recruits, alumni, and fans," said MNU Vice President for University Advancement and Athletics Todd Garrett. "The new branding creates a consistent look throughout our facilities and reinforces the pride we have in being Pioneers."

The updates include a large MNU graphic installation at the entrance to Land Memorial Gymnasium, expanded Pioneer branding throughout the Sports Performance Center, enhanced wall graphics, and updated visual elements within the Olympic Weightlifting space.

Beyond improving the appearance of the facilities, the project helps strengthen the MNU Athletics brand while highlighting the university's partnership with BSN Sports and Adidas. For Baber, the project represents another chapter in a relationship that has helped support Pioneer Athletics over many years. "We're grateful for Billy's friendship and commitment to MNU Athletics," Garrett said. "His support and partnership have consistently helped us find ways to improve our facilities and provide a first-class environment for our student-athletes."

The refreshed branding now greets student-athletes daily as they train, compete, and represent MidAmerica Nazarene University, serving as a visible reminder of the tradition and excellence that define the Pioneer experience.
