CANTON, Mo. – A stifling defensive effort and another big day from Kameron Green propelled #11 MNU to a 58-45 victory at Culver-Stockton on Wednesday. The Pioneers held the Wildcats to just 34.0% shooting and 4-of-18 from beyond the arc to stay atop the conference standings.

Green scored a game-high 24 points on 12-of-16 shooting and added 5 rebounds, and 6 assists. Zaylee Werth posted another double-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Mary Lukert contributed 10 points and Grace Carlson dished out 5 assists.

Despite a tough day from deep (2-for-15), MNU controlled the paint with a 36-16 scoring advantage and converted 85.7% from the free throw line.
