OLATHE, Kan. – MNU stayed hot in Heart Conference play Friday night, rolling past Peru State in straight sets (25-13, 26-24, 25-15) at the Cook Center. The Pioneers improved to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in league play, using a powerful offense and stingy defense to keep the Bobcats off balance.
MNU hit an efficient .270 as a team with 53 kills, while Peru State was limited to just .081 hitting and 15 total kills. The Pioneers also dominated the floor game with 71 digs to PSC's 46 and spread the ball well behind 51 team assists.
Turning Point
After Peru State nearly stole Set 2, MNU rallied late, erasing a 24-23 deficit with three straight points—including a clutch ace from Isabella Munari—to take control of the match.
