The MNU Athletics Hall of Fame 2025 Class

OLATHE, Kan. - The MNU Athletics Department is pleased to announce the 2025 Hall of Fame class.

Soccer - Savannah (Moxley) Bussmann
Forward/Midfielder Savannah (Moxley) Bussmann earned 4 All-Conference selections in her time at MNU. As a freshman in 2017, she led the team with 9 goals and was named 2nd team All-Conference midfielder. As a sophomore in 2018, she recorded 15 goals as the Pioneers enjoyed their best season to date, and was again named 2nd team All-Conference midfielder. As a junior in 2019, she scored 9 goals and earned 1st team All-Conference forward and NAIA honorable mention All-America. And as a senior in 2020, she scored 6 goals and was named 1st team All-Conference forward. She sits 2nd all time for MNU career goals. She has been working as a nurse in the ICU/OR, and starts school next summer at KU to become Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). She and her husband, Jacob, (former MNU Men's Soccer player) have two kids: Hudson (2 yr) and Bailey (9 mo). 

Football - Cristian Casillas
Kicker/Punter Cristian Casillas ended his career as the MNU Football all-time points leader. He was named Conference Special Teams Player of the Week 6 times in his career, including 1 NAIA Player of the Week honor. As a freshman in 2014, he was named 1st team All-Conference and NAIA 1st team All-America for the conference champs as he made 20 field goals and 40 PATs for a total of 100 points. As a sophomore in 2015, he was named 1st team All-Conference kicker. And in both 2016 and 2017, he was named 2nd team All-Conference kicker and punter as he set the all time MNU points record. He is currently an accountant for the sheriff's department and spends time with his girlfriend, fishing, or at car shows.

Track & Field - Josh Haskin
Middle Distance/Hurdler Josh Haskin is a multi-time conference champion and All-America honoree. In 2017, he earned Indoor All-Conference in the 600 and 4x400, was the 400 hurdles outdoor conference champion, and earned All-America in the outdoor 4x400. In 2018, he was 4x400 indoor conference champion, All-Conference in the 400 and 600, and All-America in the 4x400. In 2018, he was outdoor conference champion and NAIA All-America in the 400, 400 hurdles, and 4x400 relay. In 2019, he was conference champion in the indoor 4x400 and All-Conference in the 400 and 600, and All-America in the 600 and 4x400. The 2019 outdoor season saw Haskins win the conference championship in the 4x400 and finish 2nd place in the 400. He earned All-America in the 4x400, and won the 400 hurdles National Championship. In 2020, we was indoor All-Conference in the 4x800 and 600, and won the 400 championship. He capped his accolades with an indoor All-America honor in the 4x400. He is currently a guidance counselor for KC-based Youth Guidance and has an infant son, Josiah.

Basketball - Nick Syrie
Guard Nick Syrie finished his career 3rd all time in assists after 4 stellar seasons running the point for the Pioneers. As a sophomore in 2012-13, he took MNU to the Elite 8 at Nationals. The following season, he averaged 8.6 assists per game, guided the Pioneers to a conference tournament championship, and capped the year with a run to the Fab Four at Nationals. Two years later, after recovering from an injury, the senior was named 1st team All-Conference and 3rd team All-America as he led the Pioneers to a conference championship and a run to the Fab 4 at Nationals. He has been in the US Navy for the last 6 years and was stationed in Virginia where his main job was Launching and Recovering Aircraft. He has a 4 year old son named Koa.
