CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – MNU lost to Central Methodist and Benedictine in the conference tournament to close the season on Thursday.
In Game 1, MNU led 2-0 after 2 innings with RBIs from Emma Jones and Brie Manwarren, but the Eagles rallied for 3 in the bottom of the 3rd to take the lead. A huge 7-run 5th inning put CMU up 10-2 and ended the game via the mercy rule.

In Game 2, MNU jumped in front of Benedictine with an Abby Schulte 1st inning 2-run homer, but the Ravens answered immediately with a 3-run inning to take the lead. Two more scored in the 2nd, and the Ravens rallied for 5 in the 6th to win via the mercy rule.
