OLATHE, Kan. – #2 MNU advanced to the Final Site with a complete 3–0 victory over Concordia (NE) on Saturday afternoon at Pioneer Stadium. This marks the third straight season MNU has reached the Final Site. The Pioneers controlled the match from start to finish, scoring once in the first half and twice more after the break to secure the shutout.
MNU opened the scoring in the 36th minute when Ferdi Hagen buried a corner from Nestor Reyes Mejia, giving the Pioneers the early edge after sustained pressure in the attacking third.
Reyes again proved instrumental early in the second half, serving a 60th-minute corner that found Thomas Giraudo for a clinical finish and a 2–0 cushion. From there, MNU continued dictating tempo and winning midfield battles, preventing any sustained Concordia threat.
Jeremie Pelade put the match out of reach in the 77th minute, scoring his team-leading 13th goal of the season and pushing the Pioneer advantage to 3–0. The defense—anchored by goalkeeper Tobias Stirl—handled the rest.
