ATCHISON, Kan. – MNU picked up another key conference road win on Tuesday night, defeating Benedictine College 25-22, 25-22, 22-25, 25-17 to move to 8-1 in Heart of America play. The Pioneers' offense hit .286 as a team and got major contributions from several hitters, led by Isabella Munari's 20 kills and Avery Lowe's .524 hitting percentage.
After taking the first two tightly contested sets, MNU stumbled in the third before regaining control in the fourth. The Pioneers' balanced attack and steady serving proved too much for the Ravens down the stretch, as they closed out the match with a dominant 25-17 finish.
