GLENDALE, Ariz. — MNU came up just short in a back-and-forth battle against Embry-Riddle, falling 6-5 in nine innings. The Pioneers rallied to tie the game in the sixth inning on a two-run homer by Willy Borquez, and briefly regained the lead in the eighth with an RBI single by Sean Maple. However, a clutch two-run homer by Embry-Riddle in the bottom of the eighth proved to be the difference.

ERAU's two-run homer in the 8th was the difference.
Individual Leaders
Logan Burbach pitched 3.1 innings of scoreless relief. Nate Uglialoro, Jackson Noland, and Giancarlo Cortez combined for a scoreless inning of relief. And Willy Borquez (3-4, 2 R, 2B, HR, 2 RBI) had 3 hits.
