OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers dropped the first set, but won the next three to beat Mount Mercy on Friday. The Mustangs jumped out to a 10-1 lead and cruised to a 25-16 win, but MNU turned the tables in Set 2. Katrina Davis went on an early 8-point service run for a 9-1 lead, and the Pioneers cruised to a 25-11 win to even the match. Set 3 was another dominant performance, and MNU won 25-8. Set 4 was closer, but MNU won the final 4 points to win 25-22 to take the match.

The Pioneers started Set 2 on a 9-1 run to turn the match around.
