OLATHE, Kan. - The MNU Football team is excited to announce the 2024 signing class. The class welcomes 48 new signees to the Pioneer family. Ten different states are represented among the new signees.
"This is my fifth recruiting class since taking over at MNU,"Â says head coach
Paul Hansen, "Going into this recruiting season, we wanted to get bigger on the Offensive and Defensive lines. This class gives us even more depth, so we can continue to win conference championships and make a run in the national playoffs. I'm very proud of how hard our staff worked to land such quality student athletes."
Defensively, some key signees at the defensive line position will help add to a unit that returns nine starters next year. "Transfer
Prince Okituama and Tariq Laurent will add speed and quickness to the defensive line,"Â says Coach Hansen. "Look for Elijah McFadden, Kenyon Minnis, and Dominic Rue to be key players that can help our defensive secondary immediately."

On the offensive side,
George Dennis,
Elloy Mendoza, and Carter Devore all look to be key signees that add size to the offensive line. "For us to win another conference championship and make a run in the national playoffs, we will need to win the line of scrimmage," says Hansen. "We return eleven starters on offense next year, so getting good depth behind those guys were a key. Players like Luke Hardman,
Donovan Grier, Anthony Keller, and Zayden Snapp will look to be key players that can help the offense."
"Overall, I am very satisfied with this recruiting class. We signed 39 local kids from Kansas and Missouri. We want the best local kids right here in Olathe. This class is the future of MNU Football, and they will lead us for the next four years," says Hansen.
The Pioneers open the 2024 football season September 7th at Culver-Stockton.
