FAYETTE, Mo. – MNU clinched a share of the Heart South Conference title with a dominant 70-14 victory over Central Methodist on Saturday. The Pioneers overwhelmed the Eagles with 740 yards of total offense while holding CMU to just 36. Adrian Parsons threw for 4 touchdowns and Shawn Cherry added a game-high 136 rushing yards.
"I'm very happy with the team and how we responded after last week's loss," said head coach Paul Hansen. "To come back and win our ninth conference championship in program history is really a testament to all the players and coaches we've had here. I'm really proud of our seniors who has helped lead this team to two conference championships back to back."

MNU's 28-point second quarter, highlighted by Aiyo'n Carter's 50-yard touchdown reception, broke the game wide open.
