OLATHE, Kan. – MNU's women's soccer team cruised to a 4-0 victory over Mount Mercy on Saturday. Bella Leon got the Pioneers started in the 17th minute with a goal assisted by Alyssa Ward. In the second half, MNU pulled away with three more goals. Thayline Teixeira scored in the 57th minute off an assist from Emily Carrasco, who then netted a penalty kick in the 60th minute. Alyssa Ward capped the scoring in the 65th minute with another assist from Carrasco.

Bella Leon's opening goal set the tone for a dominant performance, while Carrasco's contributions ensured a comfortable win.

Bella Leon, Thayline Teixeira, Emily Carrasco, and Alyssa Ward all scored for MNU. Carrasco also provided two assists and converted a penalty. Goalkeeper Fiona Popetschnig earned the shutout without needing to make a save.
