OTTAWA, Kan. - The Pioneers picked up a huge win over a top team with a sweep of #12 Bellevue on Saturday. In Set 1, Bellevue took an early 5-point lead, but the Pioneers chipped away until it was finally tied at 18. MNU took a 24-20 lead, but the Bruins rallied for the next 5 points to get to Set Point. The Pioneers fought off 3 set points and it was tied at 27. Back-to-back blocks by Teresa Saunders finished the set, and MNU led 1-0. MNU controlled sets 2 and 3 to earn the sweep.
