SHREVEPORT, La. - The 4-seed Pioneers fell to 1-seed and #2-ranked LSU-Shreveport 14-6 on Wednesday to force a deciding game Thursday morning in the Shreveport Bracket. The Pilots jumped all over MNU, scoring 5 in the 1st and 5 in the 2nd to take a huge lead. It was 13-0 before the Pioneers made some noise in the 6th.
Frank Vogel led off with a single and
Dionathan Cornet followed with a walk. One out later, a wild pitch moved the runners up and
Drew Woodley drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.
Joey Calamaio doubled home another run, and
Brysen Hamilton followed with a single. An error brought home another run and kept the inning alive, and
Brycen Sherwood drilled a 3-run homer to cap a 6-run inning. MNU wouldn't score again, however, and the Pilots won 14-6.

Logan Burbach struck out 2 in 4.1 innings of relief. And
