OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers split Monday's and Wednesday's double headers vs. Central Methodist. In
Game 1, a 3-run homer after a pair of walks gave the Eagles the lead in the 1st inning. Two more runs scored in the 2nd, and MNU trailed 5-0. Solo homers from
Noah Castillo and
Drew Woodley got the Pioneers back in the game, but CMU scored 2 more in the 6th to win 7-2.

Tyler Frieders dominated while the Pioneers built a lead.
Sean Maple homered to lead off the bottom of the 1st, and a
Brysen Hamilton bases loaded walk followed by a Maple sacrifice fly made it 3-0. Frieders continued to rack up the punchouts throughout the game, recording at least 2 strikeouts in all 7 innings to set a new MNU record. The Pioneers scored single runs in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings, and MNU won 6-1.

Game 3, played at CMU due to field conditions, the Eagles pounded 8 home runs and MNU was never really in the game. Back-to-back solo homers from
