TAHLAQUAH, Okla. - The Pioneers split a 4-game set at Northeastern State over the weekend. In Game 1 vs. Midland, MNU scored 2 in the 1st and 4 in the 4th from an Alli VanLanker grand slam, but the Warriors scored in each of the first 6 innings for a 13-6 victory.

Game 1 Turning Point
After MNU got back into the game with the grand slam, Midland scored 3 in the 5th to stretch the lead.

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Cordelia Hanger (2-4, 2 R), Alli VanLanker (2-3, 2 R, HR, 4 RBI, BB), and Kelly Stoakes (2-4, 2 RBI) had 2 hits apiece.

In Game 2 vs. NCAA D2 Northeastern State, MNU scored in the top of the 1st, but NSU quickly put up 12 runs and won via the mercy rule.

NSU's 6-run 2nd was enough.

Alli VanLanker (1-3, R, 2B), Madeline Brooks (2-3), and Kaleigh Bayless (1-2, 2B) had MNU's 4 hits.

In Game 3 vs. Midland, Morgan Fouch drilled a 1st inning grand slam to give MNU a 4-run lead, and a Chloe Smith RBI single made it 5-0 in the 3rd. Midland responded with single runs in the 3rd and 4th, but the Pioneers held on to win 5-2.

Sarah Melodia struck out 2 in 4 innings for the win. Grace Berlage struck out 6 in 3 innings for the save. And Morgan Fouch (1-3, 2 R, HR, 4 RBI, HBP) and Kaleigh Bayless (2-2, HBP) led the offense.

In Game 4 vs. Bacone, MNU scored 6 in the 1st to take a big lead, and an Abby Schulte 3-run homer in the 5th made it 10-0.

Chloe Smith struck out 2 in a 5-inning complete game shutout. Cordelia Hanger broke the MNU all-time stolen base record (70). And Alli VanLanker (2-3, R, RBI), Kelly Stoakes (2-3, R, 2 2B, 2 RBI), Kaleigh Bayless (2-2, 3 R, 3B, BB), and Abby Schulte (1-1, R, HR, 5 RBI, 2 SF) led the offense.
