MARSHALL, Mo. - MNU dropped to 12-5 in the Heart after a 5-point loss at Missouri Valley on Wednesday. The Vikings shot well in the first half and took a 10-point lead into the break. The Pioneers came out strongly in the second half, cutting the deficit to 4 in the opening minutes. But Valley went on an 11-2 run to push their lead back to double digits, and the Pioneers couldn't recover. With 3 minutes left, MNU closed the gap to 4 but could get no closer, and Valley held on to win by 5.
