Pioneers Fall at #4 Clarke

OLATHE, Kan. – The Pioneers hung with #4 Clarke through 3 quarters, but the Pride pulled away late in a 67-54 final on Saturday. In the 1st quarter, Clarke dominated the Pioneers to the tune of a 21-8 lead. MNU turned up the defense in the 2nd quarter, limiting the Pride to 7 points to trail by just 7 at halftime. MNU inched closer in the 3rd, and even had an opportunity to tie the game in the final minute of the period. But Clarke went on a 17-5 run over the next 5 minutes to push the lead back to 15 before cruising to victory.
 
Turning Point
Clarke's 17-5 run at the end of the 3rd and into the 4th pushed the lead to double digits.

Kameron Green had 18 points. And Madison Haney had 10 points and 7 rebounds off the bench.
