OLATHE, Kan. – Seven MNU players scored between 7 and 16 points in an 80-63 victory over Peru State on Wednesday. The opening 8 minutes of the game were close, and MNU led 19-16. A 3-pointer from Ed Wright sparked an 18-6 run over the next 8 minuntes to give the Pioneers a 15-point lead. Peru managed to cut the deficit to 6 in the second half, but a Brooks Langrehr three sparked another run to put MNU back up double digits for the rest of the game.
