FAYETTE, Mo. - The Pioneers closed the season with a Heart Tournament Semifinal loss at #19 Central Methodist on Tuesday. The Eagles dominated Set 1 for a 25-8 victory. Set 2 was tight throughout and tied at 23, but CMU scored the next 2 points to take a 2-0 lead in the match. Set 3 was back-and-forth with long runs from each team, and MNU led 23-22 before the Eagles scored 3 straight to secure the match.
