OLATHE, Kan. - MNU is 13-0 for the first time after snapping an 8-match losing streak to Grand View on Friday. The scores were 25-14, 25-17, and 25-23. The Pioneers started 12-0 in 2013 before losing their 13th match. MNU last defeated Grand View in 2015, and have only won 4 total sets vs. the Vikings since.

After controlling the first two sets, Grand View turned things around in the third and took a 17-8 lead. But Mikayla Johnson went on a huge serving run, spanning 2 GVU timeouts, to give MNU an 18-17 lead. The Pioneers battled through the rest of the set to win 25-23 and take the match.
