Allison Denges picked up a pitching win and 2 homers as MNU swept Peru State on Saturday. In
Game 1, MNU took an early 3-0 lead, but the Bobcats rallied for 4 in the 5th to take the lead.
Emma Ryan's RBI single tied the score in the 6th, and the game went into extra innings. In the top of the 8th,
Morgan Fouch singled, and back-to-back walks loaded the bases. With 1 out,
Londin Fiorella walked to break the tie. Peru couldn't score in the bottom of the 8th, and MNU won 5-4.

Hannah Etzel pitched 3 innings of scoreless relief for the win. And

Game 2, both teams scored 2 in the first, but
Allison Denges' 1st homer broke the tie in the 3rd. A 3-run homer by Denges blew the game open in the 5th, and the Pioneers scored 4 more in the 6th to win via the mercy rule.
