SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - MNU got swept at Evangel on Tuesday. In Game 1, an Evangel 2-run homer got the Valor on the board early, and the Pioneers were unable to score. Evangel extended the lead with 2 more in the 5th, and held on to win 4-0.

In Game 2, Evangel again scored first with a solo homer in the 4th, but the Pioneers rallied in the 5th. With the bases loaded and 2 outs, Cordelia Hanger singled home the tying run. In the bottom of the 7th, 3 straight singles brought home the winning run, and Evangel completed the sweep.
