CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Pioneers won their 5th out of 6 games in an 84-71 victory at Mt. Mercy on Saturday. The Mustangs led for the first 10 minutes, but MNU used a 16-3 run to take a 9-point lead. Mt. Mercy hit.a 3 at the buzzer to close the gap to 5 at halftime, but the Pioneers controlled the second half. MNU maintained a double-digit lead most of the way, and won just their 3rd road game of the year.

MNU's 16-3 run in the first half gave them the lead for good.

Individual Leaders
Anthony Brown shot 9-13 for 26 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals. Trey Brown hit 6 threes for 22 points. Caleb Jones-McCrary had 15 points and 9 rebounds. And Cameron Brady had 8 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 assists.
