SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The MNU offense stalled in a 79-66 loss at Evangel on Wednesday. The Pioneers jumped out to a 22-14 lead in the first 10 minutes, but the Valor came back to take a 2-point lead at halftime. The difference was still 2 points at the 14:48 mark in the second half, but Evangel went on a 13-2 run to grab a 13-point lead with 10 minutes left. The Pioneers managed to get as close as 8, but the Valor maintained a double-digit lead most of the way and gave MNU their first conference loss.
