Pioneers Fall Late vs. #4 CMU

OLATHE, Kan. - MNU stayed right with #4 Central Methodist, but the Eagles prevailed 79-74 on Wednesday. The Pioneers started well and won the 1st quarter 21-20 and the 2nd quarter 19-17 for a 3-point halftime lead. But the Eagles came out hot after the break, and won the 3rd quarter 22-16 to take a 3-point lead of their own. MNU started the 4th with a 7-0 run to take the lead, and the Pioneers held a 5-point advantage with 6 minutes remaining. CMU tied it with 4 minutes left, and finished the game with a 9-4 run to remain undefeated.
