OLATHE, Kan. -Â MNU lost a tight home contest against #4-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan on Thursday. The Pioneers opened the game with a 7-0 run, and maintained a multi-possession lead until a run from OKWUÂ gave them the lead with 7 minutes left in the half. MNU closed the half with a 7-0 run to take a 43-40 lead to the locker room. Buckets were harder to come by in the second half, and the game was tight throughout. But a 12-0 spurt from OKWUÂ in a 2-minute stretch gave the Eagles a 5-point lead. MNU fought back and kept it close, but another mini run saw OKWU up 8 with 5:30 remaining. The Eagles scored with 2:44 remaining to take a 7-point lead, but they would not score again. MNU found some stops and crept back to 2 points with just over a minute remaining. In the final minute, both teams missed front ends of 1-and-1 free throws, and a final-second shot from MNU rimmed off to close it out.
Turning Point
OKWU's 12-0 run in the middle of the 2nd half turned the game around.

Anthony Brown had 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals.
