OLATHE, Kan. - MNU controlled #13 USAO despite 24 turnovers in a 94-87 victory on Friday. The Pioneers jumped out to an 11-0 lead, and pushed it to 19-3 before USAO found their footing. MNU took a 15-point lead to the locker room, but the Drovers started to chip away with around 10 minutes left. A 20-11 run cut the Pioneer lead down to single digits, but MNU pushed the lead back to 14 with just over a minute remaining. A few garbage-time turnovers and 3-pointers made the final score look relatively close, but the result was rarely in doubt.

MNU's 11-0 start gave them the lead for good.

Individual Leaders
Anthony Brown had 21 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 blocks, and 5 steals. Ed Wright had 20 points. Mekhi Elmore shot 6-9 for 17 points and 6 assists. Caleb Jones-McCrary shot 7-7 for 16 points and 11 rebounds. And Jake Alexander had 12 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks.
