Pioneers Fall at #15 Clarke

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Pioneers hung with #15 Clarke for most of the game, but lost by 8 on Saturday. Clarke started hot and won the first quarter 29-15, but MNU fought back to hold the Pride to just 7 in the 2nd quarter and the score was 36-31 at halftime. In the second half, MNU got within 1 possession multiple times, but could never get closer as Clarke pulled away at the end.

Turning Point
Clarke's huge first quarter proved too much to overcome.

Individual Leaders
Megan Scott had 19 points and 8 rebounds. TrEl'Shawn Smith had 14 points. And Lydia Ostenson added 10 points.
